Snow Storm Alert

Caramel Almond Thumprint Cookies

I cannot believe the snow that has come down this week! We had a large snow storm Thursday which took me 2 hours to get home! Thankfully I made it home safe, grabbed a quick bite to eat and off I went shovelling.

I’m definately staying indoors and curling up next to the fire!

Today we’re having another large snowfall. It snowed all night and is still snowing as I write. ‘Tis the season! It’s a great excuse to stay at home and be all cozy and for me to catch up on my baking! I’ve made these delicious Caramel Almond Thumbprint Cookies to add to my Christmas baking. The cookie has toffee bits in the dough,  then filled with a caramel sauce which makes every bite of this cookie heavenly! I always spread some Christmas cheer with my baking. Giving out tins of baked goods as a thank you for everything they have done for me and my family. This simple gesture let me tell you goes a long way. In my opinion, a homemade gift from the heart is priceless.

Now enough with the fun stuff! Need to shovel some more and burn off these delicious cookies! 😘
